Anyone have a jackalope?

From: Kimberly (MartianShark@msn.com) | Date: 2004-03-05 20:38:45 UTC-05:00
I'm looking for a jackalope, to take a picture of for a school project. It's for bio, we have to do a paper on a species found on campus, so I'm going for the humourous approach. Anyone in new england or the mid atlantic who could lend me one? :)

Well, let's see, my daughter has the head of a jackalope on a plaque
in her den and if you've ever been to Wall's Drug Store in South
Dakota they have a picture of a flying one. Seems to me the wings
looked something like pheasant wings though. (ggg) Purple Iris

I saw one mounted on a wall in Grafenwoehr, Germany, too. I wish I could remember hteir name for it! You're not implying that there AREN'T jackalopes, are you? I hear Texans take them very seriously.
